Request for Parents & Teachers to serve on Citizen Budget Oversight Committee

Applications are requested from teachers or community members at EastSide Charter School who are interested in serving on ESCS’s Citizen Budget Oversight Committee (CBOC). The requirements of committee members are to attend quarterly meetings usually held on the 4th Monday of January, April, July and October at 5pm pm via Zoom or in person at the school. The term of service is three years. There is currently one vacancy for a parent.

Committee members have to attend financial training conducted by the Delaware Department of Education (this can be completed online in 1 hour).

Interested applicants should call Carrie Klein (302)762-5834 or submit a letter of interest via email to Carrie Klein that includes the following:

  1. Provide name, address, email address and phone,

  2. Contain a brief biographical sketch, and

  3. State why you would be interested in serving on the CBOC and what you think you could contribute to the Committee.
